Turret Group has announced a new look for Window Industries magazine, the monthly magazine for manufacturers, fabricators and installers of windows, conservatories and doors.
The title, which celebrates its 33rd year of publication in 2005, has been reviewed by and external design consultancy and a fresh design implemented with the January issue.
"The new design is the first of a number of key developments for Window Industries in 2005 and I believe we now have the best possible team to implement these improvements," said Sarah Williams, group publisher, "January 2005 will see a new-look Window Industries - redesigned to meet our reader and advertisers needs in the build up to Glassex. And we have more developments planned for February, March and April which will be announced in the New Year."
"We're starting the year as we mean to go in - innovating and improving the title. We've a new team in place and the design was the first thing to be re-assessed. A fresher look has been developed to make Windows more readable and easier to navigate. We will be adding some new editorial columns including more coverage of growth sectors and market opportunities. The editorial will help readers facing the significant market challenges in this time of new legislation, fierce competition and increasing pressures on margins."
John Hatcher takes up the reigns as managing editor. Hatcher, a Turret Group veteran, will work with Matthew Downs to develop Window Industries and its sister titles Window Industries Ireland and Conservatory Industries. Hatcher spoke of the changes "Editorially we're building on Window Industries respected position within its market - we will be running more news pages and industry opinion."
